Ordering and Receiving your Ducktastic Cottage Bakery Treats
How can I place an order?
Orders can only be placed through our website or in person at venues where Ducktastic is participating (such as farmers markets and craft fairs). We also attend various charity events where our goal is to help local vets and their families. Orders placed at those events will include a donation to their cause.
What are the steps to a Cottage Bakery Order?
- Select the bakery goods you’d like to purchase. Each of our products offers a variety of options to keep your treats fresh, new, and unique. Once you’ve added the products you want to your shopping cart, you’re ready to check out.
- For orders being delivered within our accepted delivery zone, there will be a $10 delivery fee, and ready-to-eat products (our Duckie Diver bite-sized pretzels) are taxed by the state. These fees will show once you’re ready to check out. For those choosing local pickup, you will be notified of the pickup location in the email discussed below.
- Make your payment, and you’ll receive 2 emails. One will confirm your payment. The other email will confirm your order. If your requested delivery date is available, we’ll confirm it and you’ll be set. If your delivery date is already booked, we’ll offer you alternative delivery dates.
- You will need to accept the confirmation through email to ensure our bakers get your order going. If we don’t hear from you, your order may be canceled.
- The day before your delivery is scheduled, you’ll receive a notice of when you can expect delivery (we try to give 3-hour windows to reduce the inconvenience our Cottage Laws may inflict on you) or what time frame your pickup will be available (along with the address for where we will meet up with you for the pickup).

When will I be charged for my order?
All orders are charged at the time they are placed.
How do I know my order went through?
You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order. Products, counts, and delivery will be verified and confirmed through this email. If you do not respond to this email within 24 hours, your order will be canceled and your payment refunded.
What is the delivery schedule?
Deliveries are made only on Saturday, Sunday, or Wednesday. Local pickups are scheduled on an as-requested basis within the standard delivery time schedules. Deliveries can typically be expected between the hours of 10am and 6pm on delivery days. Specific delivery times will depend on deliveries being scheduled for the day.
How far do you deliver?
Delivery is available within (roughly) a 50-mile driving radius of Mansfield, TX. If you are unsure of your delivery location options, this list will provide you with our routine delivery cities. If you’re not sure of delivery to your location, check out our zipcode verification list.
Orders in Mansfield, TX, can be arranged for “Pickup,” and orders from outside our delivery zone can be arranged for a “pickup” location within our delivery zone. Message us before you place your order, and we’ll do what we can to work out a location to meet.
Do deliveries have to be made to my residence?
No, delivery can be arranged at a public location. Private property deliveries are allowed but we do recognize that you may not want strangers at your doorstep.
Does someone need to be present for my dellivery?
Yes. In accordance with Texas Cottage Law, a person must be present at the delivery location to accept the order face-to-face. If no one is present, the delivery will be considered complete, and no refund will be issued. Now we do recognize emergencies can arise. Within reason, we may be able to accommodate last-minute changes depending on the delivery schedule and the fragility of your order. A number for text messaging delivery status will be offered to you in the above-mentioned confirmation email. Should last-minute issues arise, we can coordinate solutions through text. We do, however, require all communication to be written to protect all concerned parties.
What happens if my order is not picked up?
Unclaimed or abandoned products will be donated to charity.
How will I know when my delivery is coming?
The day before your scheduled delivery, you will receive an email or text, depending on the preferences you select on your confirmation email, with a 3-hour delivery window.
How much advanced notice is required for orders?
Orders must be placed at least 3 days before the requested delivery date.
How can I cancel my order?
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of being placed for a full refund. After 24 hours, cancellations are not possible under most circumstances.
Do you offer shipping?
Yes, but only for orders placed in person at approved venues (farmers markets, craft fairs, etc.). These orders can be shipped anywhere within Texas for an additional delivery cost.

Shipping & Returns

Due to the nature of our products and compliance with Texas Cottage Food Law, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges once an order has been fulfilled.
Order Cancellations
- Orders may only be canceled in writing (via email to orders@ducktastic.com).
- Cancellations must be submitted within 24 hours of placing the order.
- Cancellations will only be honored in accordance with the order process described on the Order Page.
After the 24-hour cancellation window has passed, your order is considered final and no refunds or adjustments will be made.

- In accordance with the Texas Cottage Food Law, temperature controlled foods sold by Ducktastic will include SAFE HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS: TO PREVENT ILLNESS FROM BACTERIA, KEEP THIS FOOD REFRIGERATED OR FROZEN UNTIL THE FOOD IS PREPARED FOR CONSUMPTION.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ducktastic and its owners, affiliates, and employees disclaim all liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of our website, content, or products.
